To commemorate *World Nature Conservation Day*, *AKSIPS 65 SMART SCHOOL, MOHALI* organized a series of eco-friendly activities to instill environmental awareness and the spirit of conservation among students.
The day began with a *Tree Plantation Drive* for students of *Classes VI to VIII*. Students enthusiastically participated by bringing saplings and slogans on nature conservation. The saplings were planted within the school premises, symbolizing the school’s commitment to a greener and healthier planet.
For the junior wing, *Classes III to V* engaged in creative activities centered around the theme _“Let’s Protect Today for a Better Tomorrow”_.
- *Class III & IV*: Leaf Printing activity using watercolours
- *Class V*: Poster Making on nature conservation using oil pastels, watercolours, sketch and pencil colours
Students of classes IX to XII took a pledge to protect the environment and become "Nature Heroes".
The Associate Director Parnika Singh and the Principal Rajminder Kaur Jaitla emphasized that small steps taken today can lead to a sustainable future.
