AKSIPS-65 celebrates Dussehra with zeal and enthusiasm
Dussehra,one of the important Hindu festivals is celebrated to remind and rejoice the victory of good over evil.
AKSIPS-65 celebrated the auspicious occasion by organising a special assembly.The significance of the day was reiterated that the deadly demons-social evils like corruption,poverty discrimination,inequality etc are still to be eradicated completely and thus desired awareness must be created.
Bhajan was presented by the school choir followed by excerpts from Ramayana presented by iqbal house students.
The effigy of Ravana was lit by the Associate Director Parnika Singh and the Principal, Rajminder Kaur Jaitla . They appreciated students efforts and encouraged them to slay bad habits and embrace human virtues this Dussehra.
A series of activities were organised for students at various levels.
Classes Playway to II participated in a show and tell competition highlighting the characters from the Ramayana.
The senior students talked about bad habits and how they could be overcome.
