The Earth Day is celebrated to create awareness and to help each one of us to realize the importance of our Mother -‘The Mother Earth ’.
It is also the time to thank nature for all its bounties.
AKSIPS-65 celebrated the Earth Day in a unique style.
A special assembly was organised to celebrate the Earth Day. Students of Tagore house highlighted the significance of the day and presented a group song showcasing their love for their mother earth.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem sung in unison.
A plethora of events were held wing wise. The Pre-Primary students celebrated Green colour day where students came dressed in green costumes with green food in their tiffins. They participated in various funfilled and experiential activities.The primary wing students participated in literary activities like declamation and poetry recitation.
Classes XI & XII participated in cleaning and upkeep of the school lawn, medicinal and kitchen garden to mark the World Earth Day

The Associate Director Parnika Singh and the Principal Rajminder Kaur Jaitla advised the students to become responsible citizens and do their bit to save the environment.
